How to Book Your Clinic
CLASSICAL MASTER NUNO CAVACO
Nuno Cavaco is a master trainer dedicated to the Portuguese tradi9on of classical riding. Known for
his calm precision, respect for the horse, and depth of teaching, Nuno’s clinics inspire riders to
develop softness, balance, and connection.
His work reflects the values of Lusitano Heritage: care, heritage, and classical excellence.

MIKE FERREIRA
Mike Ferreira brings a fresh perspective to the classical Lusitano tradition. Having trained for over two decades with some of Portugal’s greatest masters, he now shares this knowledge through dynamic, approachable clinics that inspire riders of all levels. His teaching emphasises clarity, confidence, and connection, making classical principles accessible to ambitious amateurs and
younger riders alike.

For Riders
• Private lessons 45 minutes one rider maximum
• Horses should be warmed up prior to lesson
• Maximum 10 riders per day
•Personalised training adapted to horse and rider
• Optional evening sessions for rider Q&A and deeper discussion
• Personalised, classical training with an experienced Portuguese master
• Invitation to continue your journey at Lusitano Heritage in Portugal
• Every rider receives an exclusive voucher: one free lesson in Portugal or 10% off their first retreat
• Riders may be invited to provide a testimonial or review to support Lusitano Heritage’s mission
• Professional photography may be arranged, with riders able to purchase images from the clinic
For Organisers
We partner only with organisers who share our commitment to quality and professionalism.
Requirements include:
• Travel & Accommoda9on: direct, efficient travel and comfortable lodging, with meals included
• Clinic Duration: typically 2–3 days, maximum 5
• Daily Format: up to 10 lessons per day (45 minutes each)
• Financials: Minimum daily fee of €1,000 (plus travel, accommodation, and meals).
For clinics outside the EU or UK, organisers must also cover airfare.
• Support: organisers manage rider bookings, scheduling, and local logistics
Organiser Incentives
In addition to the clinic hosting fee, Lusitano Heritage offers exclusive organiser incentives:
• Invitation to Portugal — organisers may receive a complimentary lesson or discount on a Lusitano Heritage retreat, as a thank you for their partnership.
• Referral Rewards — if clinic partcipants later book a holiday or retreat in Portugal, organisers receive a percentage commission on those bookings.
This ensures that every clinic is not only an inspiring event for riders, but also the beginning of a long-term partnership with Lusitano Heritage.
Code of Conduct
• Riders must be wearing correct riding boots and helmets
• Nuno is not expected to ride any horses
• Nuno is fully within his right to refuse a student should they behave badly or act cruelly to horse
• Horses are lame or not in good health will not be accepted
• Riders should have their own insurance
• Videos are share in social media with Lusitano Heritage’s approval.
• Testimonial and review maybe requested if the student is willing to provide.
Payment Terms
• For clinics within Europe and the UK, full payment is required no later than 30 days before the
start of the clinic to allow for flight and travel bookings.
• For clinics outside Europe/UK, a 30% deposit is required to secure dates, with the balance due 45
days prior to the clinic.
• Payments are to be made by bank transfer to Lusitano Heritage (details provided on
confirmation).
• Travel, accommodation, and meals for Nuno must be confirmed by the organiser before final
payment is made.
Organiser Cancellation:
• More than 45 days before the clinic → deposit retained, balance (if paid) refunded.
• 30–45 days before the clinic → 50% of the total fee retained.
• Less than 30 days before the clinic → full fee is payable.
• Lusitano Heritage cancellation:
• In the unlikely event of cancella9on by Lusitano Heritage (e.g. illness, travel disruption), all
payments received will be refunded in full.
